Speed Mentoring in Teaching and Learning: Young people with experience of the care system mentor social work students

The value of listening and talking to young people with experience of the care system has been recognised as a vital and positive contribution to social work students' learning. A model of co-production was used to develop a series of speed mentoring events whereby social work students placed in local authority children and family settings were mentored by young people with experience of the care system. This tentative review of this small-scale project shares the authors' critical reflections on the value and reliability of this model, for evaluating the outcomes of co-productive mentoring relationships between young people and social work students. The reversal of the power dynamic between student and service user contributed to the unsettling of assumptions about each other and empathy for each other's role. The student authors reflect on learning about the child's experience that has influenced their practice. The mentor authors welcomed the opportunity to participate in the development of ‘young people friendly’ social workers. Suggestions are made as to how this model could be developed to contribute to a more systematic approach to the role of service users in mentoring, advising and contributing to the supervision process of students and social workers.     

Contested news values and media performance during the Umbrella Movement

Social crises are a huge challenge to the performance of the media. The norms and routines of news making with which journalists comply can become problematic in the context of intensive public sentiment and empathy. News values, including the sacred belief in objective reporting, are questioned in the light of controversies over editorial judgment within and outside the newsroom. I examine the contested news values that manifested in the Umbrella Movement of Hong Kong in 2014. In particular, I focus on the arguments and deliberations regarding news objectivity, which involved several parameters of the performance of the media during this social crisis.     

盐类物质对泥质烃源岩生排烃过程的影响

根据中国东部下第三系盐湖相沉积存在的地质实际,利用地层孔隙热压生排烃模拟仪开展了仿真地层条件下的含盐和不含盐泥质烃源岩的生排烃模拟实验,通过对烃类产物的分析探讨了盐类物质参与烃源岩生排烃的过程。研究表明：（1）盐类的存在加速了成烃演化,促进了石油和天然气的生成;（2）盐类的存在降低了对有机质的吸附能力,加速了粘土转化和脱水过程,且盐层易解理,使烃源岩中微孔隙及孔缝发育,促进了油气的初次运移;（3）无盐泥质源岩发育区虽然滞留大量的石油资源,但由于其岩石本身难压裂,对于商业化开采页岩油并无太大意义,到达过成熟阶段后,可能是页岩气开采的有利区带。盐岩发育区虽然其整体演化过程中生成的油气易于排出,但在Ro=1.28%时仍然滞留着20% 的石油资源,富含大量的盐类脆性矿物而低含粘土矿物,有利于产生裂缝,易于压裂,是页岩油藏勘探的有利区带。     

中华民族共同体意识培育要凸显社会主义属性

社会主义制度是中华民族共同体意识培育的政治基础和底气。从中华民族共同体意识形成与确立的内在逻辑和演进机制入手方能辨析其本质特征,中华民族整体意识最终确立于抗日战争时期,这一共识形成和确立的基础是广泛的爱国主义。因此,"中华民族"及其议题本身不具有制度规定性,具有价值中立性特征,与主流意识形态相契合方能形成巨大的现实力量。在近代中国对社会主义道路的选择、在建设与改革时期对社会主义制度的坚守持续滋养中华民族整体意识,社会主义制度使中华民族共同体意识获得内在的规定性。在中华民族共同体意识的培育中要凸显社会主义属性,切实把握方向和大局,以确保中华民族共同体意识正确的政治方向。     

试论伦理思想在伊斯兰教中的核心地位

伊斯兰教是以道德为本的宗教。在伊斯兰教中 ,宗教信仰是基础 ,伦理道德是核心。离开信仰 ,道德无以寄托 ;离开道德 ,信仰无以落实。信仰之路也就是道德完善之路 ,信仰的最高境界也就是道德的至境。无论是伊斯兰兴教的出发点、最终目的 ,还是伊斯兰教的主旨 ,都说明伦理道德在伊斯兰教中居于核心地位。阐明伦理道德在伊斯兰教中的地位 ,对于我们正确理解伊斯兰教的真谛具有积极意义。

Education,identity, and ideology: the Islamic movement and Moslem religious education in Israel

The Islamic Movement, which is called in Arabic Al-harakaat al-islamiyya or Al-haraka al-islamiyya, has, since its foundation in the 1970s, placed emphasis on education, especially the dissemination of the Islamic message. After the movement scored significant successes in local authority elections, its influence increased on the ideological guidelines according to which some of the Arab education system is partially or fully shaped. The article discusses the split in the movement within the State of Israel, and the differences between the southern and northern faction. It also compares Islamic education and Arab education within Israel and abroad in Europe, in countries which have large immigrant Moslem populations.

The education system that the Islamic Movement tries to develop symbolizes the complexity of the relations between it and the state authorities. They are aware that the authorities will not help in differentiation and separation and will not cease from the constant supervision of the movement's educational institutions. Therefore, their choice of a synthesis between formal and informal education or of a partition between pedagogic state education and moral study classes, is a rational, calculated choice, taking into consideration the reality of a cultural – ethnic – national minority.

本文从不同层面探讨了宗教与社会主义社会相适应的途径,分析了正确对待宗教工作的方法和态度,着重论述了新时期应该突出宗教的伦理和文化功能的观点,从制度支持、信仰者个体自我约束与政府的管理相互促进、以保证信教者与不信教者拥有平等的地位等方面探讨了宗教与社会主义社会相适应的条件及途径。

引导宗教与社会主义社会相适应是我国宗教工作的出发点和落脚点,是我国宗教工作方针的重要组成部分。本文从宗教与其所处的社会相适应是宗教历史和发展的必然、引导宗教与社会主义社会相适应原则的确立是马克思主义宗教观的丰富和发展、宗教从其自身条件来看是能够与社会主义社会相适应的以及探索宗教与社会主义社会相适应的途径和方法四个方面阐述了宗教与社会主义社会相适应这一论断的科学内涵和现实意义。     

银行客户信用评估动态分类器集成选择模型

现实的银行客户信用评估数据常包含大量的缺失值,这在很大程度上影响了信用评估模型的性能.针对已有模型的不足,提出了面向缺失数据的动态分类器集成选择模型DCESM.该模型充分利用数据集中所包含的已知信息,在训练信用评估模型之前不需要事先对缺失数据进行预处理,从而减少了对数据缺失机制假设以及数据分布模型的依赖.从UCI数据库中选择两个银行信用卡业务信用评估数据集进行实证分析,结果表明,与4种常用的基于插补法的多分类器集成模型以及1种直接面向缺失数据建模的集成模型相比,DCESM模型能够取得更好的客户信用评估性能.
